Pre-launch: Planning is the most important. Lay out every day what you intend to do throughout your project’s lifecycle. Start with some core group emails to start seeding the idea of your project in your closest networks.

Project Start: Planning should now take a back seat to full on implementation. Your goal is to capture all of our project’s launch excitement and implement part 1 of your plan.

Project Middle: You are not in the middle of your project’s lifecycle. Any final plans for the end should be the priority. How will you capture the urgency of your project’s impending end date. You are adjusting and modifying your original plan for the final push at the end.

FInal Stretch: You have about 7-10 days remaining and it is your final push. Take that plan you have refined and get to work implementing it. Planning should be minimal with all efforts going towards getting the word out about your project.

Post-Project: Okay, your project has ended. You are delivering Giftbacks while finalizing and adjusting your plan for delivering Giftbacks. Be thinking of Thank You cards, emails responses, questions to pledgers that need answers, etc.
