Fun rainproof seat covers that accessorize bikes with personality and protect seats from environmental damage while promoting biking in CO.

Project is required to reach it's funding goal within stated timeline to receive funding.
What is this project about?
My overall goal is to contribute to the bike-friendly image of Fort Collins by beautifying the bikes people ride and helping extend the riding season. Plus I want to show tourists that we have fun while we’re riding!
To do this, I’m developing rainproof bike seat covers with a Made in Colorado label that are both fun and functional. I plan to pair up with bike manufacturers in Fort Collins to offer their customers locally-made accessories for their custom bikes. No more plastic bagged or duct taped seats!
We have wonderful artists here, so eventually I’d like to work with them to design fabric that could then be made into a “The Art of Biking” product line. This line will provide some income for artists as well as proudly showcase the talent unique to our community on a new canvas.
Part of the money raised will go toward purchasing fabric and paying local seamstresses. I also hope to purchase a table and canopy tent so I can sell my merchandise at bike events where I can help promote Fort Collins as a biking community with personality!
