Endorsement Needed
Endorsements are a tool CF has created to help you be more successful by giving you a better understanding of what it will take to get your project funded.
You are expected to attain 1% of the total $ amount of your project in endorsements.
A Neighbor in Need Project may be started by an individual or an organization and must be charitable in purpose.
Neighbor in Need Projects
A Neighbor in Need Project may be started by an individual or an organization and must be charitable in purpose. Neighbor in Need Projects do not have to reach a funding goal to receive their funds. All donations made to a Neighbor in Need Project will be received by the Project Creator within 2-3 business days of the time of your donation.
These projects are required to provide additional banking information once the project has been submitted for review in order to deposit funds directly into the organizations bank account. Neighbor in Need projects are identified throughout Community Funded by the above icon:
A Non-Profit Project can only be created by users who have registered with Community Funded as an organization and that organization must be a certified 501-c-3.
Non-Profit 501-c-3
A Non-Profit Project can only be created by users who have registered with Community Funded as an organization and that organization must be a certified 501-c-3. Non-profit projects receive all donations to the project regardless of if they reach their funding goal or not. They also receive these funds within 2-3 business days of the donation. These projects are required to provide additional banking information once the project has been submitted for review in order to deposit funds directly into the organizations bank account.
All projects that are listed as “Non-Profit Projects” have had the project creating organization verified for its good standing with the Secretary of State where the organization is located and with Internal Revenue Service. It is not enough to be in the process of obtaining your 501-c-3 status, you must have your 501-c-3 status to qualify.
